Objective
Develop a campaign targeted at low-income adults that informs them of the earliest signs of autism.
Concept
In order to reach the target audience I brought the information to a public environment. The bandage was used to symbolize a medical issue that is being covered up with a quick-fix. The tension created by the image makes its eye-catching, memorable, and compelling.




Dust Collection

Objective
Create a book that looks at the human experience in its totality.
Concept
DUST Collection is based on the verse in Genesis when man was formed out of dust. Each chapter contains an excerpt from a memoir that discusses one of the books themes: pain, fear, change, hope, and love. Layers of sediment metephorically represent the passing of time as the layers build from chapter to chapter. Vellum and sandpaper were used throughout the book to create a tactile experience.





Cafe de Sade

Objective
Establish an identity that captures the café ‘s unique personality.
Concept
Café de Sade is a restaurant in the south of France that is frequented by a wide range of people, from Parisian tourists to local farmers. I represented its mix of rough and refined qualities by mixing masculine and feminine visuals. The overall identity is both elegant and down-to-earth.





Visions Magazine

Create a publication featuring and article on human cloning and another on improved bicycle technology.
Concept
Visions Magazine is a scientific journal for the non-scientist. It is casual, and humorous, while still maintaining an intellectual attitude. “Being Human” questions what qualities make up a human. “Pedal Power” unveils a new bicycle designed for the postal service.

Establish an identity for an advertising agency comprised of students who donate designs to small businesses to help
the community.
Concept
NP Design Associates is comprised of design students working with small business owners who need design work but cannot afford it. The identity is professional, but still maintains the vibrant energy the students have.



Golds Gym: Celebrity Gossip

Create a poster campaign to be used inside of Gold's Gyms.
Concept
Gold's Gym has a long list of A-list patrons. This campaign turns the gyms into Hollywood walk-of-fame using playful celebrity gossip. The campaign reminds customers that Gold's is the place to get in shape, whether you are a celebrity or an average Joe.






Austin Collins

Objective
Design a campaign for the album release of a country-rock artist.
Concept
Austin Collins is a rough and rugged man that is not afraid to wear his emotions on his sleeve. His album Roses are Black speaks to a pain ridden heart that still holds on to a little hope. I used the rough textures of barbed wire and brick to create a gritty aesthetic. I contrasted those textures with the smooth velvety image of a rose to capture the spirit of a breaking heart.

Crème Magazine is a publication for creatives and art
appreciators around the world. It focuses on up-and-coming
art and design that is budding out of the limelight. Creme is
experimental while still maintaining a fun and approachable attitude. It has an bright visuals and a bold energy that will
keep its creative audience on their toes.




Pangaea Fair Trade Tea

Design innovative and sustainable packaging that appeals to a broad audience
Concept
Pangaea is a Fair Trade tea company that is founded on
benevolence and equality. The brand motto is “made better by a world together” which captures the companies commitment to international equality and unifying the globe. The logo and packaging continue this concept. The box is sustainable because it is made of recycled paper and uses no adehesives



TYPO Berlin: Roots

Create an identity and marketing material for an international design conference. Choose a theme for the event and create corresponding graphics.
Concept
The theme Roots captures the idea of understanding design history in order to enhance contemporary design. The graphics are energetic and bold which keeps with TYPO Berlin’s image. They are created to catch the eye of the visual artist or designer with subtle playfulness.
